Vintage Carved Peacock Necklace, 20" Black Cord. This is a white carved teired peacock pendant with little holes carved through the piece in two rows around the outer endge. Carved into a natural material, perhaps bone or horn. It has a natural defect in the material at the base - it is not split - it was the maker just using a piece that had a little defect or chipped on the back as it was being made. The pendant is app. 2.25" tall and 1.5" wide. It is on a 2mm round black leather-like laminated cord that has a silver tone extender chain - total of 20". 18" length with the 2" additional extender. It is not signed or marked. Age is papx. 1960's-1970's, the cord is newer. (W121722.8 SS9462 AZ J LD 1/26/23). (JK 5.14.24)
