Vintage Sterling Agate Necklace, 19" , 1980's-1990's. Southwestern themed polished agate that has green, a gray/pale lavender with deep red speckles. the nugget is set in a bezel that is technically too big for the stone. I believe this was a hand-made piece where they glued the stone as it fit in the opening but the bezel is not up against much of the stone or framed against it. 1-1/8" tall and 1" wide. It is not marked or signed. The pendant and bail do test as sterling with a weight of appx. 6.21 gr with the stone. The chain is a purple laminated round appx. 2mm cord that is 18" with a silver tone lobster clasp and 1" extender chain for a total of 19". Good condition, polishing would brighten. This was believed to be hand made and as such it is not totally symetrical. (W121722.8 SS9471 AZ LD 1/26/23) (JK 6.6.24)
