Vintage 14kt Diamond Engagement Ring, Sz. 9, Marquise/Round, 1970's-1980's, Signed F.H. This has an appx. 6mm marquise diamond on top that is appx. .36 CTW. There are three diamonds on each side that are channel set and together are appx. .36 CTW. .72 TCW for all diamonds. Exact measurements on the dimaonds are difficult in the setting. The standard depth for the measurement of the diamond on top is used to calculate as the diamonds are not being removed from the diamond to measure. The color of the diamonds is approximately H/I or slightly better. SI2. There are some carbon inclusions in the marquise diamond visible under magnification. Still, a very nice diamond. Extremely well made ring. It is marked 14kt and tests as 14kt with an appx. weight of 7.33 grams.The ring measures 7.6mm front-to-back on top and it tapers to appx. 3mm at the back of the finger.
