Vintage 14kt Bypass Engagement Ring and Fused Wedding Band, Size 7.5, 1940's, 5.27 grams

Vintage 14kt Bypass Engagement Ring and Fused Wedding Band, Size 7.5, 1940's. The engagement ring has a 14kt white gold wide illusion bar set with three stones and yellow gold otherwise - two are natural diamonds (the ones on the end) and the center is not - it tests as possible quartz and tests outside of glass - just not positive on the stone. It is appx. 3.8mm, round cut,. The stone on either side do test as diamond 3mm. They are appx. H/I n color and are a good cut with SI/S2 as best as can be seen in the setting. On either side of that center piece is a bypass 14kt yellow old band that flares wider at the end with three graduated natural diamonds on each side that are appx. .8mm to 1.5mm. The wedding band is 14kt yellow gold with white gold setting for the six natural diamonds on top that are prong-set and appx. 1.25 mm wide. The ring on top of the finger is appx. 18mm going down the finger and where the bands are fused at the back of the finger it is appx. 3.2mm wide. The ring is not marked or signed. It does test as 14kt with an appx. weight of 5.27 grams. There is an area where the bands where fused are scratched - either for testing or to remove engraved names - not sure. It is in good condition - a very unusual design that will be noticed when worn. (W72525.48X4 SS17958 J 8/2/26).
