Vintage Sterling Silver Southwestern and Modern/Abstract Pierced Earrings. Dangle and Stud. The stud is about 1" tall and 3/4" wide with an inset carnelian type round stone that is appx. 7.3mm. It has a raised and lower area and the lower area has a gold wash accent that is about 25% of the stud. The stud is pierced with a hinged back. Signed .925 and O.S. The dangle is a cut out irregular shape as well with an inset green jade and blue lapis stone that is the same size as the carnelian. This also has gold wash accents on the lower frame. I am not sure if the stones are real - they are set in the piece and it is a closed setting so I cannot get light through the stone. The auction house lists them as round cut gemstones but I'm not certain but given the size and the quality you would not think they would be faux stones but anything is possible. These have a crossover Southwestern/Abstract/Modern look. They are 3.25" long and about 1-1/3" wide at the widest point. Weight of both pieces is 34.15 grams. Photos were hard to capture on these because of how brilliant the silver tone is and the gold. The photos will give you a good idea but they look better. Lot Loc.
